Lizbeth E

Lizbeth earned her Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Georgia State University. During her time there, she served as a graduate research assistant, focusing on teaching response to name and joint attention skills in a telehealth caregiver training study. Her involvement in applied research ignited a passion that she continues to pursue through volunteer work in the research lab. She aims to contribute to the writing of the research paper on this study for publication alongside the principal investigators.

Before joining Applied Behavioral Consulting in September 2023, Lizbeth spent nearly 3 years as a lead RBT at the Marcus Autism Center's severe behavior unit. Handling some of the most challenging cases in the state, she discovered her enthusiasm for ABA and witnessed its significant impact on clients. Some of Lizbeth's main interests in the field encompass running functional analysis, implementing function-based interventions to reduce challenging behavior, employing demand latency interventions, skill acquisition, and graphing and analyzing data using Excel.

Currently on the path to becoming a BCBA, Lizbeth is driven by the desire to continue making a meaningful difference in the lives of the clients and families she serves.
