Raquel J

Raquel is a dedicated social work student at Athens Technical College with aspirations to pursue a Master’s Degree in Social Work. She has long felt called to support children and families through the critical stages of growth and development. With a strong belief that thriving communities are built on the foundation of supported families and empowered children, Raquel is passionate about being part of that essential support system. She is also a strong advocate for individuals who may not feel empowered to speak up for themselves and is committed to being a voice for the vulnerable and marginalized. Looking ahead, she hopes to build on her education and experience to become a school social worker or paraprofessional.

    Raquel enjoys spending her free time gardening, hiking, or reading self-help books. She also enjoys winding down, getting cozy, and watching some TV.
